    Hi Kalyuks

thanks for the info. r_sarti had given some good ideas you earlier. my 2 cents are....

to the best of my knowledge, Nigerian market is very much prepaid dominated. some ideas for you are..

being a CDMA operator, you biggest strength is data products/service capacities. try to develop a data business whereby people will buy PCMCIA or USB data cards with your RUIM to access internet. you can develop data packages of various capacity like

    a) Saver Package (pay per use and mention the rate)

    b) a fixed rate for usage upto 100MB/300MB/500MB/1GB/3GB or more per month (additional usage will be charged a little higher). this will create a niche segment of internet users to come to your side. usually the CDMA 2000 1x has a much faster data throughput rate than EDGE/GRPS based GSM networks. you can target this product to corporates and individuals.

    on the voice side,
    a) create a FnF (Friend and Family) tariff rate for voice and sms. you can allow as many FnF as you deem necessary.

    b) also based on your network usage you can create some "Happy Hours" during day-time in which the call rates will be attractively low.

    c) you can also offer very low rate during the late night (after 10pm) when the network utilization is very low

    d) you can offer a partner-pack whereby a pair connection is sold and the tariff per min between the pair is very very low.

    e) if VoIP is allowed then you can also offer discounted international call rates at different time slots.

    f) for the corporate segment, you can offer them hunting number facility for the office PABX. with this product the corporates will be happy as this will reduce dependency on incumbent fixed operator (assuming you have one)

    g) you can also offer Corporate Messaging Platform for the corporates with large sales force to send bulk sms to all sales force.

hope this helps. no details are available regarding your company in your profile, do share those, so that we can help you better.

    cheers!
