Need Help Advertising A Commercial Website.

I have spent over a year developing and perfecting a website/application. Now I need someone who can make it visible to potential customers/users (within a specific niche) in the US (or worlwide). I firmly believe this has huge economical potential, and would let the one helping out get his piece of the pie.
If it sounds interesting, I'd greatly appreciate answers.

I though I'd see if there is any interest here, before I start calling agencies...

    We pretty much need more info Myron; URL to the site, what the application is and also who is the target?

    I won't give you name or URL here in the 'open', but it's target is the gay community.

    That will allow people to contact you. There are lots of qualified people on this forum. But be ready to answer the first question they'll be asking you: Do you have a marketing strategy? If you don't, either start or have them help you.

    Actually the advertising is very huge market
    1) Can your server support world wide user? If user is less, the sponsor should not be waste money to post advert.
    2) Why users view your website? What is your customer scope?
