Company Services Off The Ground

Posted by danielle.macinnis on 125 Points
My client is a marketing training company but can't seem to get much business off the ground without a long consulting process. I have asked them to vary their approach and perhaps offering so they can get their foot in the door,

ie client audit survey, online marketing coaching, webinars, advertising, on-line tutoring. It all seems to land on deaf ears. Any suggestions? They are basing their current sales strategy on relationship building at the highest level, CMO which takes some time to achieve.

I do not understand what your client is selling.

Are they trying to sell training/education services so that a company's (client's) on-staff marketing employees will do a better job?

How about conferences? I could see how it would be hard to sell a service that the CMO thinks the team already has internally.
