Name For Coffee Shop

Posted by fordwincher on 125 Points
Our company in UAE needs a catchy name for our coffee shop. The more suggestions the better, pls!

What we want is something that will reflect the kind of service and ambiance we offer. Ideally, what pulls you into our coffee shop is our best-tasting coffee. What makes you stay is our exotic cakes and pastries. What will keep you coming back is our friendly and professional service.

The coffee shop itself has a feel of elegance in it. We'd like to treat our customers as if they are royalty. The walls are painted cream with cornice of burgundy and gold. We have big windows with heavy curtains (cream and burgundy). The corners will have big sofas for the ladies, the kind which have back rests that's extended over the head and with soft, padded protrusions at the sides for privacy. We have highly trained baristas and staff who will serve with excellent professionalism. There will be a trolley going around with the waitress asking how you'll want your coffee flavored. Do you want cinnamon? Hazelnut? We'll have different assortments for you to choose from.

We came up with some names but we need more options. Here are some names we came up with:
The Royal Cup
The Golden Cup
The Royal Coffee Shop
Royal Pastries (but this doesn't reflect the coffee part)

We're stumped and I hope your suggestions could help us move forward.

Many thanks!
Susan

You could go the French route and call it Cafe Royale, which would cover you for coffee and pastries. Or you could call it the Regal Coffee House, sticking with the royal theme.

You emphasise the opulence, but the decor sounds as though it could bit a bit formal and stuffy (might be appropriate for UAE - don't know the market!). If that is your aim, you could liken it to a gentleman's club, Club Coffee or something?

    Hope this helps :)

If your coffeehouse is frequented by policemen you could borrow the tagline "Good to the last cop."

I like your customer service perspective but putting Royal in the name just sounds blah.....because when I think of some of the names I am thinking of a deck of cards. Maybe using other names that describe royalty from other countries.

    The Emporium

    High Emporium

    Visconti Coffe House

    House of Savoy

Afternoon Delight (non royal but cute)

Thanks all for your suggestions! Much appreciated =)

We've shortlisted a few due to limitations set by the Sharjah emirate (one of seven in the UAE). Right now, all business names should have Arabic translation. If the translation sounds funny in Arabic, we had to scrap it (also, if it cannot be translated then it will not be approved).

Thanks again. Hope this project flies!
