Press Kit and all the materials are ready and we have already been submitting PR pieces to the local and the national media including all the F&B publications. The website is in progress www.OcTapas.com

I'd like some input on how to get the focus of the food shows and magazine e.g. foodnetwork. I'd like to better target the PR and get a much higher ROI.

I think your site needs some revision. My browser has loaded your page everywhere. Before launching your PR Campaign tidy up your site! You only have 1 chance to make a first impression.

How do you plan to address the online marketplace? Have you identified which bloggers are followed by those you want to know about you? In today's marketplace, press releases are not enough to get the word out to the media you want to attract. You have to get some buzz going and positive feedback from sources that your customers rely on and most importantly trust for a good recommendation. Start with your personal connections and ask for their assistance in spreading the good words. Check for relevant online postings and submit your comments to promote yourself, and your company, as an expert resource.

Use your myspace (and facebook pages) to target local people or your friends. I agree with the recommendation to clean up your site. You have lots of great information, I'd like to see it segmented a bit more. Also come up with a special promo for people that find you via the web or online: like 1 free toothpick :)

Start a dialogue with your target customers before your event via your website or your myspace.
