Have a free contest for airline tickets. People interested in entering fill out online form with email address, which airport they live near, and which destinations they are likely to use.

Discount coupons mailed to parents who recently had children. Relatives will be likely to visit and this is a great win-win.

Active senior centers - provide a discount to provide an "outing".

College students living near one of the airports - especially a few months before holiday travel.

You could do a contest where you have prospects view information about the routes you have (or other information you want them to pick up), then fill in questions related to the information. The more questions they get right, the more entries to the contest.

Tie the reward for the contest in to the theme of the contest by making the prize something like tickets on any route flown from the airport.

If your goal is to raise awareness of routes then I suggest the following:

    1. Contact travel agencies in your region and travel agencies in the regions in which your routes fly to.

Offer them a small kick back or some sort of incentive on tickets sold for the new routes you are trying to advertise. The cost of this is nothing more than a phone call.

    2. A similar campaign could be run with local car rental agencies, train stations, cab services.

    3. Find a company that generates leads for local businesses and do a mass mailing to those companies offering a discount on rates for flights flown to each of your destination routes. (This depends on who frequents these routes the most? Business travelers, pleasure, students etc...)

Personally I feel sending them registered mail will get a better response. It's more expensive but when the recipient gets the letter he/she is less likely to throw it out because it looks important.

    4. This is costly...at least here in the states. Contact a local radio station and run radio ads.

    5. Find companies that pertain to your industry and do a website banner exchange.

Obviously I would need to know your target market amongst several other things. Hopefully these suggestions work!
