I believe some background information will encourage people to post their ideas. Is it Private or public, what are the issues behind the need to promote a high school. other factors that are unusual about this high school. what is your role and what resources do you have available or what are the limitations you are facing. These are the questions you will need answer before anyone will be able to tackle your needs.

Does it have a reputation for being good at one particular activity maths, english, sports, science etc. If so why not rebrand it

for example

Springfield High School - could become -

Spingfield Science and Techology Academy

If it's just raising the existing profile, try involving the local community, local / national business in activities for mutual gain.
