Marketing/slogan Ideas For A Plumbing Company

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I need marketing and slogan/catch phrase ideas for a small plumbing service company. We tailor to residential customers but will consider commercial jobs. We have been in business for 5 years and I, as CEO, am master plumbing certified. Our plumbing market is heavily saturated and due to cost, we are not currently advertising in any local phone books. Thus, we need cost-effective, original advertising and marketing ideas.

You really should consider starting a word of mouth marketing campaign, especially if you offer great service and don't have a huge marketing budget. Check out this blog for some ideas:

We drain your sink, not your wallet.
A flush beats a full house (not my idea but I love it!)
We could fix White House leaks.

Sponsor a dance troupe that performs clogging. Call them "The Uncloggers".

We do have an advertising budget, with plans in the making for radio spots and new ads in the local phone books. I'm just looking for additional cost-effective ways for advertisement and original tag line ideas. Cutesy tag lines are funny and some are effective in making a customer remember your name, but I'm really looking for originality and separation from other plumbing companies because of the saturation of the local market.

What is the name of your company? Is there any way you can make a play on words with your name? There is a local plumbing company, "Chaput", whose tag line is "When it goes caput, call Chaput." Can you do something similar?

For cost-effective advertising, join a referral organization like BNI (https://bni.com). For a low annual fee and weekly breakfast cost, you have a whole sales team representing you every time they meet with a client or prospect of their own.

The name of the company is L&L Plumbing Service. We are thinking of starting some radio spots. Does anyone have first-hand knowledge of radio effectiveness?
