Attract Existing Clients

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I work in a cubicle in our large office. I would like to ask my existing clients to bring pictures in of their travels (I am a travel agentI) to place up on my wall. I believe it will encourage loyalty and repeat business. Am I on target with this idea? Any other ideas to keep business flowing? This is my busy time of year. I already am mailing travel pieces (average two a week) to existing clients to keep my name in front of them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

That is a cool idea-- I'd also put the pix on the internet, your newsletter etc. Do you have a mascot? You can have a stuffed animal you give clients when you book a trip and ask them to send pix with the animal in it as well.

    Norma Jean,

I understand what you're doing, but is most of your business in person or over the phone?

It might be better to provide them with postcards and ask them to send to you.

Just curious...are your mailling about you (my real estate friend does this) or suggestions for neat/new places to go? I'd suggest the latter would be better. You can usually get good pieces from each country's Tourist Office in the US.

You might also tie the picture idea to a world map with pins. When someone travels, place a pin on their destination, pull a piece of colored yarn from the pin to their card. Then people will see where in the world others have traveled to and images of their travels.

You might have a frequent traveler's program yourself. Provide additional discounts, free add-ons/upgrades, refer-a-friend, etc.
