I'm looking for some great ideas to draw people out to a Grand Opening for Condos. Looking to attract young professionals. Plan is to work with radio in some aspect with live remotes, but I'm looking for a way to really drive qualified prospects out with the remote-Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't have a ton of experience with real estate marketing, but I do have some. In that time i've never seen an event or gimmick work at grand openings unless it was tied into the features or amenities of the property. For instance, I know of a very successful GO that used a pool party and BBQ on premises. It worked because the property had an exceptional pool and patio area. Without knowing the features of your property it would be difficult to recommend the appropriate idea. Hopefully, this will spark something for you though.

With the popularity of cooking shows on cable TV, any type of cooking class can draw a crowd. In San Diego, a home builder got "Sam the Cooking Guy" (he has a cable show and is from San Diego) to do on-site cooking demos to attract crowds. Sam the Cooking Guy was used on postcard mailers and in newspaper ads to pitch the Grand Opening.
