I Need To Find An Idiot Proof Flyer Creation Software

Posted by joshuacrumbaugh on 250 Points
Hello,

My marketing department has recently been overrun with flyer requests that are very low on our priority list. We provide a great deal of customizable flyers, but there are thousands of potential fliers needed and we don't have time to create everything for them. Does anyone know of an idiot proof design software (Preferably Modular) that is so simple anyone can figure it out with very little training? I've got to get these flyer requests out of my departments job que!

Thank you,
Joshua D. Crumbaugh

I know there are a number of departments here at the hospital who in the past have created some in Microsoft Publisher. Also, if memory serves me correct, Paper Direct has some template types of programs that partner with their different paper options.

    Good Luck Joshua!

Publisher is a nightmare for commercial printing. However, if they are just going to be doing small campaigns it would probably suit the average idiot. You might want to set up a template with guidelines and brief instructions.

Thank you for your responses any additional ideas would be greatly appreciated. It would be great if there were a modular solution where I could give them a resource library with professionally designed photoshop elements they can place where they want.

So are you mass producing one flyer or trying to customize many flyers?

Trying to give them the ability to customize many different flyers that all match our corporate image and look very professional, but don't have to be individually designed each time. Currently we add each new flyer created to a marketing solutions center they can access, but this just isn't quite cutting it.

I would honestly just use publisher..

Its really as simplistic as it gets. With design templates already in place its a no brainer for those people who lack creativity, if someone is looking to exercise their creative individuality they can do that too.

I've never had an issue printing publisher and it convert relatively well too.

Why not go to elance or one of the freelance sites.

My graphic designer created brochure templates to use when a small business owner can't afford "from scratch" You can contact Nancy at www.Eye2EyeGraphics.com

We can afford from scratch we just don't have the time, but I was looking into Publisher and I think it will work and with the proper setup we won't lose much quality.

I found Easy Flyer Creator the simplest to use. It is straight forward and already has some starter templates that you can use. If you want to use use your own pictures or art, Easy Flyer will let you do that. It has a merge feature that will help you with your mailings. Just Google Easy Flyer Creator for a trial copy
