I am on my way to becoming a Usability and User Interaction expert. I feel like I know a lot on that subject, but want to know more and be more technical on that: how to measure the cognitive load of the web project, how to define the fastest and the most efficient way for the user to interact with a web project or web based software.
I want to read something good on Human-Computer Interaction. I have found a reference about "The Psychology of Human-Computer Interaction" by Stuart K. Card, Thomas P. Moran, and Allen Newell.
This book is pretty expensive, so I decided to ask professionals first if you, guys, know anything about it.
May be you have in mind good books on Human-Computer Interaction or Web Usability.
I would greatly appreciate your input.
Thank you!
