Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points

This is my final project and have to write a response to a marketing brief.

I would like to know if there is any professional guides that I could follow, or any professional sample responses that I could have a look? (Since i am not majoring in marketing, I had a very hard time on this project.)

Thank you very much! (This is quite urgent

When you say response do you mean that you have to put together an advertising campaign to meet the needs of the marketing brief?

i am not asking anybody to do the work for me but seek for a formal guide. Like a brief, i could find some topics like "how to write a good brief", "brief guide". That's what i am looking for.

Since there's no standard formula, it seems like it would be better to ask the instructor what he/she is looking for, or talk with other students, including those who have taken the class in the past. Or just to do what seems to you to make sense, which might be the point of the assignment. Good luck.

WMMA's "Jump into it" is sage advice.

Research the customer. Learn everything you can about the target audience. Get to know the product and the company. Find some real understanding what's driving the client and the writer of the brief. Know who you're pitching to and where the pitch will happen. Who's going to be with you? What are their strengths and weaknesses?

When you think you have a grasp on all that take a step back and ask yourself if it all makes good sense. Is the client asking what's in his/her best interests? Anticipate questions.

Finally, look in the mirror and know that having jumped into this and having answered these questions, you have the answers the client needs. Maintain your flexibility and understand you don't know it all. But, demonstrate confidence and competence that no one can do the job and get the results your team can. Master the business-speak jibber jabber and show you speak the language. Then, show a better, clearer, more sensible and effective way to communicate.

The point of the pitch is to win. Go jump in and win this thing. And, win big.
