Hi there,

I have currently built, using wordpress, a news publishing site targeting institutional , investment and industry professionals.

Check it out: www.privateequitynews.co.za

Any thoughts?
Do you think i should start driving traffic to the site now?
Can I make it a premium membership site at this stage?

    I'd suggest adding analytics to the site, so you can measure traffic (useful for both advertising and figuring out if you have enough interest to convert to a premium site).

    Your site needs some additional CSS work (I'm looking at the site using Firefox, which has button following "Subscribe" behind your banner.

    The theme that you developed/chose isn't yet polished enough for premium membership.

    Given you're providing investment information, you need to provide a lot more background on who you are, and the original source (ideally, a link back to the original article) to ensure that you're providing unbiased information.

    I believe the site is ready for you to begin driving readers to it. I believe you have selected a topic with less competition in NA than most financial sites.

    I believe you are getting the cart before the horse on the subscription... membership thoughts. People need to see current value before they drive to the next leve.
