Women's Show Presentation Fo Day Spa

Hi,

I work for a day spa and we will be participating in a women's (trade) show in a month or so. Along with a booth, we can have a 45-minute slot on the main stage to do a demo or presentation of some sort.

We're looking for fresh, exciting presentation that will set us apart from the other makeup, massage and spa folks who also will be participating.

Our spa USP doesn't directly translate to a presentation. (Our focus is up-scale, personalized service).

Ok guys, whatcha got?
I know this group has some great ideas. I'm ready for one.

    How about this...

    Instead of doing a "presentation" how about doing a "training".

    Pick the number one problem that women come to you with. Let's say for argument's sake that it is lower back pain.

    Title your training - "The Three Steps to Relieve Your Aching Back In 5 Minutes or Less" (or something like that) Then...actually TEACH them how to do it. Offer some instruction that is REALLY valuable.

    While the mucscle guy is a GREAT idea...I think that giving them tools they could use every day would have a long term effect. Every time they use that massage technique or whatever you teach them...they will think of your business.

    It won't hurt to tease them with more, either. Maybe..."Our professionally trained massage therapists have 317 other methods for relaxing your back, pampering your soul, and relieving your stress. But you have to come see us in person to experience those" Then offer them a coupon with a discount on their first appointment. Maybe even offer a deeper discount for people that schedule their first appointment on the spot!

    Just my thoughts....but I think making yourself an expert and becoming a resource will draw LOTS of people to you.
