I promote a pro rodeo that hosts a benefit for breast cancer, called “Tough Enough to Wear Pink.” Cowboys, rodeo personnel and fans are encouraged to wear pink to the rodeo and funds are raised for breast cancer research.
The local morning TV anchors have helped promote the event for 3 years, by handing out pink items on site, (jelly bracelets, pink ribbons, etc.) and by riding horses in the grand entry (the female anchor is an accomplished horsewoman.)
We are looking for something different for them to do this year, at the rodeo, to help promote our pink night. It needs to be something they can talk about on air, to draw attention to the event, and that is fiscally sensible to do at the rodeo. Any ideas would be appreciated!
