10 Year Anniversary For A Middle School

As a school with a minimal budget I am looking for ideas to create a 10 year anniversary celebration for our middle school. Ideas to do one activity a month or perhaps just one large event at the end of the school year would be appreciated.

We have 1200 students and a staff of 140.

    It's not too hard to find companies in the area that are also celebrating the same anniversary.

    They may be willing to kick in some cash to help...with appropriate recognition.

    Each school month, focus on a year. For example, September is 1998, October is 1999, etc. Create a brief curriculum tying into that year. For example: the top songs from that year, the top world events, the top inventions, the top websites (https://www.archive.org/web/web.php), photos of the town from that year, photos of people/teachers (what they were wearing), displays of the books from that year, etc.
