I am a new designer and very new to PR. I'm beginning to send out press kits to various fashion magazines and costume designers.
Should I be careful about sending the same designs to costume designeres? For example, if I send a press kit with a certain dress to one costume designer, should I be careful about sending a press kit with the same dress to another costume designer? The reason I'm hesitant is because I know that celebrities really care about being the only one wearing a certain design, but I"m not sure if that applies to the films and tv shows they're in.
Ideally, I'd create one standard press kit per season and send them along to targeted outlets. But I'm not sure this would be smart.
Thanks in advance for your input!!
