Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
It is urgent in need of a solid and competent response for a 2nd interview. Attached is the job description. The role is to cover maternity leave with a handover period. I have left an impression in my first interview- however, the next meeting is with the Managing Director- so I need to perfom exceptionally well. I have been described as a Dynamic Marketer, good outlook, great personality, can-do-attitude. well-experienced. Just need to concentrate on how I would hit the ground running and work effectively during the handover period?

Kind regards,

Rav

My thoughts - first is don't go in and start trying to make all these statements about how you meet the requirements. Have the information prepared, but only bring it up if it fits in the conversations. Appearing too eager or trying too hard can kill you.

Prepare little stories for each area that you can. Follow the Problem-Solution-Result format. What was the problem that you had related to the area, including background info of why it was an issue, what had been tried to fix it, what were the costs of this problem, etc. Then cover what your solution for the problem was. If it was a team solved problem, your part of the solution is what you want to focus on. And then cover the results, preferably in bottom line terms (money saved, time saved, increased sales, etc.).
