Who Can I Outsource Emrktg Mngt To?

Posted by Kevin McIntosh on 25 Points
I'm a freelance copywriter and would like to create email marketing messages for direct clients but have another company manage sending out the emails, list mngt, metrics, etc....

Any recommendations for a company that can do that?

Thanks.

    Hi there,

There are some expensive and complicated ways to get to the solution that you are looking for but I have what I think might be a better answer for a freelancer like yourself.

Consider a Virtual Assistant. I've looked at this service pretty extensively and there are people who have strong skills in the exact area you have requested.

You can negotiate fees based on what services you need and how long they will take.

Plus...if you find an independent one...it helps out another freelancer like yourself.

Just be sure to check references and skill sets.

    Hope this helps,

    Kris

You'll find a number of companies which would be happy to do this for you - just check out the site. While we don't normally self-promote - you should find Clever Returns, Inc. on the list of various service companies which do what you are looking to do.

Best of luck in growing your business.

I'm normally not the shameless self-promotion type, but we can provide this service for you/your clients on a full-service, outsourced basis very cost effectively.

    You can also try

    www.listrak.com

I've used them for a client and they are very helpful.

The best overall email / autoresponder management service is probably aweber.com - They provide stats for open rates and metrics for tracking purposes, templates, etc and have a high deliverability due to double opt-in confirmation and spam detection tools. I have tried several autoresponders that were easier but the deliverability cannot compare.

If you need help with setting up the autoresponder, as was suggested you can hire a virtual administrative assistant to load the messages and configure them properly. Nothing is worse than an email with a bunch of lost code and messed up broken lines addressed to [First_Name] - Be sure to send yourself test copies before emailing thousands of them...then you have to send the "oops" message...
