    What's special about you?
Any difference from thousand other companies who do exactly what you do?
Who are your competitors in your area? what do THEY do?

we are independent vendor unlike others in our area. what is really special about us is that we offer a complete solution from assessment to support.

we are the newest in the market and other competitors are already established and no need for them to do any effort related to awareness since they already have their established clients database and they are benefiting from referrals which we are lacking despite the fact that we do offer better quality of service.

this is why i am asking for creative and original ideas so that it will help us increase the word of mouth and people start talking about us.

    thanks

Go for limited edition direct marketing.
Communicate only with CEO's of companies you want to work with.
Send a relevant and authoritative book on the subject you are an expert in, with a request for a personal meeting.
If the CEO gives you his/her time, you're in.
Avoid expensive advertising at all cost.

Gary is right. I was trying to direct you to the very same issue in my questions included in my first response.
If you do not differentiate your brand from all the others, you have a very small chance of success.
Obviously, you didn't ask any questions about building your brand and you went directly to the tactical issue of "ideas", but what does your brand stand for?
Think about it, its very important!

Thank you all for your response, and i am sure you are right... because my problem combine increase awarness for my brand + value... we are trying to avoid to compete on prices and we don't want to position ourselves as the lowest price, but i need some marketing activities that help on this matter...

what might be a good choice or action for me to increase awarness... i would like some new ideas that are not traditional... all companies are trying to make events, direct contacts, exhibition, etc... this is why i am looking for new ideas that will show our values, the difference between us and the competitors in the field...

    awaiting your ideas

Focus on a single, under-served niche. Learn what they need extremely well, and provide exactly that solution, marketed using their terminology. Start by being an expert to a small group - it's much easier to break-in to the market, and the niche is likely to be ignored by your bigger competition.

Do you have an online blog? This might be a great way to put on an "expert" hat. Invite your customers to subscribe (either by email or your website), and feature articles that contain relevant information for your customers. While this will initially be limited to current customers, blogs have a great way of often going "viral". You can link to other blogs of relevance, and see if you can post on those out there that have articles of interest, and then link back to yours. Invite your customers to forward the blog link to others they may know. See if you can host guest writers - that can limit the amount of original content you need, and also showcases your company as a "portal" to the experts in the field.

    Good luck!

Face-to-face marketing works very well for relationship building and educating potential customers, positioning you as the experts in your field. In the technology industry (as in any industry, really), as NuCoPro said, it's all about relationships. Attend tradeshows (and make sure the people who go are really going to make the most of them), get speaking engagements at industry conferences, hold seminars on a client's site, perhaps even webinars.
