Pre-selling Of Yoga Membership

Posted by enikiforova2000 on 250 Points
I am opening a yoga studio in a downtwon area and I am trying to pre-sale some membership before opening. There are four separate studios in a 3 storey building, so I am offering a lot of different classes at different times. There are about 40,000 people working in downtown. How could I reach them?

You might try connecting with some of the natural foods shops in the city. I am thinking of Natural groceriers, vitamin shops, juice bars, vegetarian restraunts, etc. These might have contacts of people more inclined to your services. I know Yoga can benefit all, but this might be a place to start. Other partner opportunities could be with massage therapists, physical therapists and chiropracters. These may have clients that are looking for something else to help recover or maintain their bodies.

You could offer these places a referal fee. You may want to even offer some of these places a free trial membership (month) to get people started.

You could offer trial memberships to employees of large companies in town.

The goal is to get some people in the door. If your service is great some of these will translate into memberships.

Signage in the window (ideally showing healthy people in poses)
    Local (women's) gym
At parking lots, public transportation hubs, etc.
In the park (offer free classes in the park to have people find you)
    At coffee houses.
