I Need Advertising Stratergy For My Products...

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi friends... I work in a pharmaceutical company. We are planning to launch our ayurvedic products in India now.
Now here is the catch:-
1. we dont hav a big advertising budget($2 per unit approx.)
2. It is an expensive product(Rs. 500+)
3. We will be introducing not only our products for the first time but also our brand, our company.
So we need this to be a successful launch.
Could you plz suggest me low cost effective ways to advertise our product.
Thanks in advance

We just ran across an amazingly cost effective way to get the word out to thousands/millions. The company provides you with Millions of Free b2b leads, Millions of Free Consumer leads, and more besides. You can get more information at: [URL deleted by staff]
Of course this strategy can be a Primary or Secondary resource. Hope this helps.

A few suggestions that might help:
Word-of-mouth (viral advertising) costs nothing. Here's some ways that would help build word-of-mouth to your target market with a minimal budget: getting samples of your product into prospects hands, strong testimonials, free PR through local media and PR news wires.
Direct mailing marketing could also work. It's not a big investment but it has the lowest response for getting leads.

definitely spread the word to your consumers. prove that it works to a small group of people that are willing to try your product and hopefully, they will tell many people in their village and they will be the living proof that the product wors. so not only do the people get a verbal account of the product, they get a walking presentation as well. also, try to get a few samples to the doctors, this may prove valuable

As you had mentined you don't have big Advertising budget you can go for small press ad as introducin, launching..
You can go BTL activities like displaying items in malls with your representative explaining the customers.
You can opt for banners, Hoadings, standee,Leaflets

    Hope this will help somewhat

Before you spend $ on advertising, have you identified your target market, what major problems they have, and how your products solve their problems better than any of your competitors'? First create a marketing strategy to help you focus on your prospects first.

Then, once you clearly understand, identify the correct (marketing/advertising) tools to achieve your goals, taking into account your resources, time-line, and skills. Just picking random tools without getting to the crux of your business is likely to waste both your time and money.
