Radio Jingle For Auto Dealership

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
I am getting a Jingle produced to help my radio advertising and am stumped on what type of music to play. If I was to narrow my target market, I would say I am going after Women ages 18-40, with middle of the pack credit. I am not sure whether to have a guy/girl sing or what type of music to play. Any ideas?

We have a wide variety. In the last 2 months we have sold 83 cars, 58 SUV's, 58 Trucks. Mostly Domestic Trucks/SUV's and a lot of foreign cars. Right now we have everything accrossed the board

Brian, My guess (based on your profile and car sales) is you might be well suited for a country western musical bed. But, I would guess there are lots of stations in your area and selecting the right station based on demographics should be your first step. The stations can tell you who there market is. You don't want a rock song on an easy listening station or a country western song on an adult oriented rock station. Also, on some stations you might not want any music.

Ask the stations to provide you with their numbers. Once you have those in hand, you can do a better job of identifying your market.

    Good Luck!

Brian, I note that spell check does not account for stupid mistakes - their, not there. Duh.
