Theme For Fair Employment Conference

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are an event agency and is pitching for a conference on the topic of Fair employment practices (FEP). This is a relatively new concept in my country as such would like to seek some help in getting a theme for the conference.

The objective of the conference is to touch on FEP issues, deepen the level of understanding and practices of FEP and raise public awareness.

would anyone be able to assist and suggest some themes?

Maybe you could make your theme "Contemporary issues in FEP...". It needs to be something that addresses a manager's desire to have the most current up-to-date info on best fit practices. Approach it like "don't be left behind".

Is FEP a new requirement for HR in your country, a best practice that has employee/employer benefits, or simply a nice idea?

If it's the law, then the theme would focus around "New Legal HR Requirements". If it's a best practice, "Reducing Employee Turnover" (or whatever benefit is most appropriate). If simply a nice idea, "Become A Favorite Place To Work".

In my country we have a colloquial saying for Fairness, it is giving someone a "Fair Go", why don't you call your conference: "The Fair Go employment Practices Conference". or "Fairness in Employment Conference" if you want be more functional.
