Content Of Press Pack

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have just started a job as marketing executive and have been asked to design a press pack for an upcoming show. I have looked around the internet in what to put into a press pack, but am somewhat confused by what people expect to see.

Can someone tell me what people look for in a press pack please?

Other things to consider in addition to what is in the aforementioned blog post: be sure your materials and concise because you want to post your press kit online. Most media, in fact, demand online press kits in today's market so that they may have all of the basics at the ready when they want them without the hassle of going through mounds of paper. (It will also reduce your postage budget to post this way!)

In putting your press kit online, be sure that your photos are at least 300 dpi as this the cleanest format for which to reproduce them. Don't forget to identify them!

Put your contact information on every page of a press kit so that there is no question about whom to speak when questions arise.
