Seeking Corporate Sponsorship For Major Event

I have secured the right to Host an even for an Major Sports team in a Major city and I would like to have your opinion on the best way to acquire corporate sponsors for this which is 3 weeks away. I have obtain sponsorships in the best but not with this little amount of time. I do feel however due to the client their should be numerous opportunities for sponsors to associate their brand with a major sports organization and reach their target audience. I thinking of have different levels of sponsorships with the elite level receiving direct access to the Athletes and Radio/Promotional ads.
If you could suggest what you may feel the best way of going about this to secure sponsorship opportunities it would be greatly appreciated

    Well I guess you like working under pressure.

    If its a major team, focus on those who hold the boxes, and who sponsor the TV time for the team. They have already bought in big, are associated with the name and are the path of least resistance. They already are convinced!

    Good Luck -- its a great opportunity to the fearless who don't require sleep. When (note I didn't say if) it'll be a spring board to bigger things-- this is a great world for people who work wonders.
