Good Traffic, No Sales Yet. What Am I Not Seeing?

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Just launched a new site, [inactive link removed]. It's pretty straightforward and uses Zen Cart. I haven't had any orders yet and no real feedback. Care to provide some? Thanks in advance.

When you say "Just launched," how long has it been? How much traffic is "good traffic?"

Evidently the ppc ads you're using are bringing people to your site, but your site isn't enticing them to buy.

"Main Resource Repair" doesn't identify who you are, or what you do.

Asking people to log in on the first page before they've gotten to know you will cause them to bounce quickly.

Another reason to bounce is that, on first look, it's not easy to figure out what you are selling. Are you repairing phones, selling new phones, or what? I'm pretty confused, and I'll bet your visitors are, too.

I don't think your "New Products for October" are really products, are they? Aren't they just services you provide? You are giving a very inconsistent message.

If you want them to stick, you need to give people a strong value proposition when they first land there. Make sure they know that you are delivering what you promised in the ads that brought them there.

Your copy needs to tell me what you do, why you do it better than the next guy, and why I want to buy from you. It doesn't do that.

Also, the white text on gray is hard to read. Don't make your visitors squint!

Add analytics (such as Google Analytics) to your site to see if you're getting traffic and no sales or no traffic.

The copy isn't clearly written. Who are you targeting? What makes you special? Trusted? Do you have a price guarantee?

Your contact info needs to be clearly on every page of your site. Before ordering, I might want to email or call you to find out more.
