Virtual Conference/networking Event

Posted by erin.trowbridge on 75 Points
Our corporation is launching a new online product in November and we're trying to think of new ways to bring people back to our website. I attended the virtual conference that MarketingProfs hosted a while back and loved the format. We are considering doing something like this for our site - having a virtual networking event so that the people who are members of our site can connect with each other.

Does anyone know who provided the virtual conference service for MarketingProfs? Are there any other suggestions of providers of this service? Thanks!

    Dear Erin

Val the moderator (She’s got her own email link) or Shelley will know the answer.

Might I just add that having the right provider is only half of the job – getting the right people to advise and run it for you is also critical, perhaps more so?

I understand that the MP team and some members are available to do things such as this and I’d betcha that they are cracking value for money. For example, there are the guys who are involved in Marketing911 which consists of a bunch of rapid response Marketing Experts with various disciplines and specialisms. You can contact Mike Goodman (mgoodman) through his profile and ask around.

I’d offer from the UK, but as we are in the process of switching off the lights and heading for somewhere with a better economy, like Mars, for example, we might just let you down!

Now I must go and prime the 17th century cannon which protect our driveway. Starving peasants are marching on the manor, equipped with burning torches, demanding cake.

    Best wishes
