Sales And Marketing Packets

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I work for a software development company that designs software for School districts and Municipalities.

I have redesigned our logo, materials, image, etc. to create a nice and consistant brand...my questions is we have marketing folders that the sales team uses for demo, sales calls, trade shows, etc..how much information should I be including in these packets?

For the most part they include:
All the basic sell sheets on the product and each module
A Success Story
For Demos - sample checks and a copy of a Purchase Order (this is an important feature in our software)

Sometimes I feel like this is not enough..any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would ask the sales team about what potential customers ask to see after receiving the packet. If the same items shows up often, it may be worth considering adding that.

I guess you have quite a complete package. If I was you I will add how the product offer will help the specific school you are trying to reach. Personalize each presentation to individual schools. It shows your particular interest in each and the feeling of being treated in a particular way not as part of a bunch is always welcome by prospects. If too complicated then have the presentation folder individualized per school. Something that give the feeling of that personal touch so valuable if you are a client. Put yourself in your prospect's shoes.
