We are located in New Jersey and are looking for a good, reasonably resource to help us produce a television commercial. Any body had any experience?

Your question is far too broad :))

I think you need to mention.

Is you TV ad to be shown locally on cable or local broadcast?

Or nationally.

What budget do you want to spend?

I don't think you need to go all the way to Houston to find a good production house :) New York City and New Jersey are swimming with great production and creative people and you can pick your price from a low budget (few thousand dollars) to multi million dollar productions :)

Do you want to work with an Ad agency? or go it alone?

Clarify these items for yourslef first and then put your post again wit more detail. THen I a sure you will get many more and much more specific answers :)

The ad will be shown regionally on cable however we are looking for a national quality production. We want to keep the budget at close to $10,000 or lower and will be workng without an ad agency
