You need to reach teens where they are, YouTube and MySpace might be starters. Facebook is also quite popular for all generations.

Start a group that offers deals to memebers. I know you can do this in facebook. Perhaps a facebook application that tells people their "style" based of different answers to quesitons.

Cindy, you probably ought to do some research among your target audience and ask THEM where they shop for and purchase products like the ones you're planning to sell. The answers should be specific to your geographic location, product category, age profile, gender, demographic and other factors.

For US to try to guess at strategies for such a broad target as teens and tweens is not likely to generate anything useful for you. You'd need to be much more specific. For example, if the product is delivered electronically and really appeals to all teens/tweens, then maybe China is your best market, but if it's a physical product and you have to ship to China from Canada you might select just North America. Etc.

If you need more ideas, you probably ought to give us more information about your product, positioning, target audience and goals.

    Cindy,

Consider the strategy the Obama campaign used. Although they made their initial contacts electronically, they had a firm rule to contact each person personally within three days. Phone or personalized email. It starts to establish the relationship immediately.
