Blue is the universal "favorite" color. There is a reason; it is the most abundant color on the planet. It is soothing, attractive and prfessional. Take a look at company logos, websites, packaging, etc...you will almost alwats see blue.

Green is a good "positive" color as well. Orange supposedly indicates confidence and stability.

So, I recommend blue and orange or blue and green. You can always use black or grey to outline borders and/or add a little definition/style to the design (look at how black is used on this site).

Scott, I wonder why no one ever suggests purple? Deep purple, a rich, calming hue... powerful in ancient Rome, psychic when it's part of your cosmic aura.

Shelley's becoming one of my favorite KHE experts of all times. Besides being a motivational speaker I'm an international award-winning artist but that doesn't mean anything unless you want to know more about the power of color and how it stimulates us, energizes us, relaxes us or makes us sleepy. Red is my favorite color and all variations of it like Hot Pink, Candy Apple Red and Mary Kay Cadillac Pink, Rose and Burgendy but don't tell anyone (please).

My Advice For YOU:
A color that has been growing on me is Cucumber Green. Because it's light, fresh and very calming. Emotionally evoking our deepest inner most thoughts and drawing us similar to the color of money. "Try It You'll Like It". I tried it and people just love it on my bio. I believe this one thing has caused me to have to turn down more opportunities to speak then any other.
