Ideas For A Youth Based Newspaper

Hi,

We are planning to launch a newspaper targeted at young people (between 18-24 yrs) in chennai, India.

This newspaper will be a supplement in a major newspaper and will be a weekly.

We are looking at innovative ideas for content. The content should also be interactive (eg. We are planning to print blogs by readers on various topics).

Please let me knw if there are any interesting case studies or if you have any ideas.

    Don't forget article bank submissions (for example, EzineArticles.com, AssociatedContent.com, etc.) for content (with proper attribution, of course).

    If you will be publishing an online version, use Web 2.0 tools and let your readers rank, comment, Digg, Del.i.cous, and Facebook the articles. That will make the stories more interactive and let your audience feel they are contributing to the content.

    As for what content, the absolute best way to find out what content to publish is to ask your intended audience.
