Need Help Developing Trade Show Theme/plan

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need help developing a theme for my company's booth at an upcoming trade show. We manufacture a line of premium carpet cushions and flooring underlayments that are also very "green". We will have a very large booth space, but a relatively tight budget to fill it. I need to formulate a unique theme, design and plan to create pre-show buzz, attract attendees to our booth and keep them in the booth.

The hardest challenge to overcome is the nature of our products. Most consumers are uneducated as to the importance of quality underlayments and once our product is installed it is covered with a floor and never seen again. Out of sight, out of mind.

Our company is well known at the distributor level in our industry, but not so well known at the retail level. One of our goals at this show is to build brand awareness at the retail level. Our other goal is to drive our existing customers into our booth and persuade them to buy at the show, as well as attract new distributors that do not currently carry our products.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

will you have space to set up comparisons/demos?

If your product is as good as you say then by all means have your target audience discover for themselves. As long as the feeling is noticeable it will work to your benefit.

If the difference is a durability issue then maybe you can simulate comparisons of heavily trafficked samples (yours vs standard).

Find a theme that leverages your strengths. If it is as soft as a pillow, go with the soft theme.

    Best of luck!
