Giveaway Ideas

Posted by lathans on 125 Points
Need some help with some unique giveaways. Our company is exhibiting at a Health Benefits Expo in February representing our HR, payroll, and benefits administration software and services. We could just do the tshirts, but I know you guys can help me out with something better. Any ideas?

There are first-aid kits available at various price points. Those are very useful, which is my criteria for giveaways (they need to be something the people will actually keep around).
4imprint.com is a great supplier I've done quite a bit of business with.

How about: https://secure.motivators.com/33257-promotional-items.html with an imprinted sticky note pad (with your logo/contact info)? The book could be a premium giveaway.

Hand-held back massagers are always popular. So are lip-balm and water.

The key is to giveaway something appropriate and related to your product. You do not want to attract people just for the prize if they are not interested in your product. You want to spend time talking to the correct people, not just those that want a giveaway.

Have a drawing for a free year of your software every day. This will attract the right people. Be sure that people need to provide contact info to win the drawing. This way you develop leads at the same time.

A software firm I worked for gave their entire software package away... for 30 days. At the end, the fully functional software would lock until purchased. The data entered was kept intact.

Otherwise, I agree with the idea of spending a bit more on something that people will keep and use. I see an awful lot of promo Ts at Goodwill....

How about a USB thumb drive, imprinted with your company's name? Could also come loaded with the promo of your firm's software, and/or a slideshow of your demo package and service offerings. Just type "preloaded USB drive" into Google.

I HAVE NOT used this company but they offer something like this: https://www.cfgear.com/solutions.html.

How about trying a custom slide-chart since education is an important part about health care software.
American Slide Chart offers a free design.

Another suggestion is sending a map of the city of the show to the pre-registered attendees with your branding and booth number. Popout Branding offers neat 3-D maps. https://www.popoutbranding.com/

    Good luck!

A very inexpensive and useful item...I can't think of the appropriate name for them, but you put them on the end of your toothpaste, and it rolls the tube up as you use it. I love those toothpaste things... I wish I remember what they are called. And despite not knowing the name of the gadget, I do know the company info imprinted on mine.
