Looking For A Unique Theme For An Industry Tradeshow

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
We are in the midst of planning our 2010 show and are looking for a modern unique idea. This idea should be able to be adjusted to target potential exhibitors and attendees.

We would like to emphasize - making connections, new technology, education, and doing business.

About Graphics of the Americas (GOA)
Taking place each year in Miami Beach, Fla., GOA is the print industry's second largest, annual combined exposition and education event in the U.S. With worldwide attendance and exhibitors, GOA is one of the only conferences that attracts print providers, suppliers and creative professionals. It is a one-of-a-kind international event that showcases the
convergence of industry knowledge, products and technology.

By the way, in 2010 we will be celebrating its 35th year. Also, most of our show attendees and many of the exhibitors are from Latin American countries.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

What are your past themes? What themes have been well-received? Why?

I'm new to this board and not sure why I closed the question - but we still need help.

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately I don't have good historical records to know what past themes were and whether or not they've been well-recieved.

We are trying to take a fresh approach to this quick changing industry. It can be argued that print is dying - and people's views of its importance are changing. We don't want printers to think that's the case. We need them to embrace the new techonologies and ideas that could help their growth so they don't get left behind.
