1. I'm looking to have a new site built. For the last ten years, my friend(a developer) has custom built and maintained my site but he's getting too busy so I'm in need of a referral for someone who can build/implement a full-featured e-commerce site. I don't want to spend a fortune but still want a robust site with many options for promotions, analytics, SEO, content management (for my managing my skin care articles and media press) as well as a shopping cart. Z Node, as an example, has a great program with all of the features I am looking for. https://www.znode.com/. I prefer to have an "out of the box" solution vs. the expense of having it custom built.
I'm wanting a very professional and savvy company or individual who "gets it." Some website programs are very cheesy and not very professional, as well as very limiting as to what they can do. I'm located in Dallas, but certainly can work with someone outside of Texas, but the NE states tend to charge a lot more than the south or midwest.
2. I'm planning on optimizing my site (SEO) and in addition, want to give it more of a marketing punch to increase sales when customers are purchasing (and/or browsing) on it, so would love to get some feedback on what could be improved on my site to increase or encourage sales. And please critique the design, too. www.reneerouleau.com And yes, that's me in the first flash promo! :)
Thanks!! Renee
