How To Write Website Content?

Posted by sophia_lo702 on 125 Points
Dear Profs,

I'm having another questions regarding the website content writting. for example,
https://spoilmenow.co.uk/

I'm aware the text are long with lots of keywords. I'm wondering how to improve these. Is there any similar sites with good content? or any sources and information you could share with me?

Thank you

Sophia

A few things come to mind immediately:

The keyword meta tag on each page has the same keywords. The same for the description. I suggest to only use keywords and a description on each page that is in line with the page's content. So on the eye care page, only use eye care keywords and description.

The texts are nicely mixed with graphics and it looks professional. As for web texts, use the inverted pyramid (google on it: inverted pyramid journalism). In a lot of texts this is the case. You start with the reader's challenge or benefit. Thats good. Sentences are not too long, so there you are doing well too.

You might want to add some pages with articles or customer successes or how-to's if you have them. That would make your site and your pages even more relevant for the readers (and thus for the search engines).

Make sure you have links back to the main pages and possibly cross-link between pages where it makes sense.

Instead of 'more information' you might want to use text that is in line with the destination page. So where it says 'more information' on the home page to go to the eye care page, use something like: 'more on eye care'. Do the same with your images. Give every image an alt tag with a description of the destination page.

Those would be the main items for enhance SEO for on-page elements. There are many more, but the only make incremental differences.

    Good luck.

I'm more concerned that the title tags are duplicated across the site. The title tag is the most important ranking factor on-page and is very useful as a direct response tool within the SERPs. Each one should be unique and include your keyword. If you wish to add the business name, add it to the end rather than the beginning. Try and avoid repetitious text at the beginning of the title.

If you wish to put the page specific keyword in the meta keyword it will not hurt (though it won't help). You could also remove the keyword tag from the site.

Meta Description Tags are useful as a direct response tool, again, within the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). Write unique ones relevant to each page.

Avoid stuffing keywords in the keyword tag, alt tags, and on the page itself. I'm seeing very low keyword densities lately on top performaing pages. If you write the page for your audience you'll find that the keyword density will be much more natural. If the page looks like it's been SEO'd your density is too high.

Include your keyword phrase in the h1 tag, of which, there should only be one per page. You can have multiple h2 through h6 tags.

    Dear Profs,

Thank you for all your idea and it is very helpful. I'm wondering is there other similar sites displaying lifestyle information, surgery, health, beauty and fashion? how do they structure their sites? and how to make it more attractive?

    Thank you

    SOPHIA
