Go to alltheweb.com and use their advanced search tool. You can search the term media breif and tell it what type of results you want. PDF, Word doc, Excel file etc...

Media briefs need to peak interest and clearly communicate your point, but to get a better look at one I recommend you use that search. You may even be able to find something in your same industry.

The key part of the media brief is the word BRIEF.

    - Succinctly communicate the purpose of the brief (are you inviting to a press event, notifying of a conference to come, releasing first details of a breaking story?)

    - Indicate when more details/news will be available (are you releasing a statement and open to calls/interviews, or are you notifying of a press event and won't be providing further details until the scheduled event?)

    - Indicate who the brief is from, when the news/info is allowed for publication, and include contact info (phone & e-mail, minimum).

    - if there will be speakers, attendees or other happenings at the event, give enough detail to pique interest... but don't give the story away.

    - be clear on timing, directions, location, etc.,

    Good luck, hope this helped.
