Need Your Opinion On Super Bowl Ads For Research

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hello All,

I am doing research on what business owners think about Super Bowl commercials in relation to their own advertising.

Would you please take just 30 seconds to answer these 5 questions located here: https://app.icontact.com/icp/sub/survey/start?sid=7327&cid=376086

I will post the survey results in this forum when complete.

Thank you for your assistance!

    Drew,

It's good that the survey was short (I didn't submit it) as it seemed too directed.

Thank you to those who responded so far. Yep... that's so annoying! This is the stock response generated by the iContact survey system and anyone using it can confirm this. It's dumb, indeed, and I've contacted their support to see how this can eliminated.

As the survey states, no email addresses are going to be used as I have no need for them, just the responses. (You haven't, and won't, be emailed as a result.) I've always maintained a strict no spam policy. In fact, I never do business with spammers, lest I encourage their spammy ways. I have an excellent reputation in the industry and I'm certainly not going to bruise it by--let alone provide my real name if doing so!--by something so ridiculously trivial as an email addy grab.

But what hurts most, is that you offer me no peace and love... even on Valentine's Day :'''(

I shall not be so cruel. I wish you all the best!

    Success!

    Thank you, Tinker...

I'm a relatively new user of iContact (3 months, and my first survey with them) and when I checked the radio button option for using their generic THANK YOU for when people submit their survey response (as opposed to designing/creating my own thank you page and uploading to my own hosted site), I assumed it would suffice. I'm grateful to you for bringing it to my attention. In my email to iContact's support, I told them that an email address doesn't "validate" anything, as their boilerplate button copy suggests... and told them I don't even need such "validation"... just the survey replies themselves. What I thought would be the easier of the 2 options (their generic thank you versus creating my html page) ended up causing me to enjoy less love and fewer hugs on V Day!

To avoid further confusion (and withholding of affection), I'm going to simply create my own thank you page after all. lol

    Success to you, Tinker!

Thanks Tinker... you've brought out the sunshine here!

Thanks to your assistance, I've removed the iContact generic Thank You page and replaced it with my own and will reissue the survey using the new link below. You've saved me a lot of time and aggravation and it's greatly appreciated!

    I've taken the survey.

I didn't have a problem electronically signing my name with an e-mail address.

But if the intent of the e-mail adderess was simply to ensure a human completed the survey, surely a Captcha Code would have done the job nicely without any intrusiveness.

Oh, and the e-mail address doesn't have to be real, either...

    Cheers

Chris.... agreed! Silly, isn't it? They replied to my email and said there's no way to turn it off. Crazy.

Thank you for taking the survey!

    Success to you, Chris!
