Social Marketing (aka social media optimization) is one way to go.

Go to wordpress.com and open a free blog account. Then create content (copy, photo, video) which will be interesting to your customers. Check out the link below for social sites you can register on to build more site traffic.

    Social Networking God - https://mashable.com/2007/10/23/social-networking-god/

Don't forget to get your customers email addresses so you can send them blog updates.

Just keep googling for more info on "How to use social media to promote your business".

    There is endless ongoing info.

    good luck,

    Steve

    Hi,

Good question you have raised...whats the best advertising method when you have a low budget?
The answer is advertising medium selection decision should always be taken independent of budget constraints. The reason for this is when you start with a limiting mindset chances are you will make a wrong selection.

First one should analyze which medium lends maximum credence to the category.

    Second analyse compatibility with positioning.

Third check reponsiveness of the target audience with the medium.

    Fourth check compatibility with budget.

Lastly Devise ways to deliver the messege within budget constraints

However distributing flyers (information sheets) at key locations, insertions in local news papers, out door (billboard) advertising are few low cost solutions.

Beyond just social media, I would think about an overall inbound marketing strategy that would combine a number of efforts and then allow you to attract a lot more people into your business.

Surveys have shown that inbound marketing is three times cheaper/more effective than outbound marketing. You can download the PDF report to see all the data.
