Blogging Site With Rich User Interface

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
To all those web site critics , I am in the process of launching the site YOYOIndia(dot)com a social networking site for Indian Community . Work is in progress . My idea is to offer something that is clean , clutter free -Most of the Indian community sites are filled with clutter, tons and tons of animated gif's .. finding information is finding a needle in haystack .. here comes our site to the rescue . We have in our road map a combination of features : Blogging, classifieds, etc.. we are going live with just the blogging feature and will add additional features as we develop them ..and also are opening up our API so developers can write their own gadgets ..

Here is the URL if anyone wants to try out the features and comment on the site functionality etc..
Url of the site - [inactive link removed]

Note : this is a work in progress , we have some IE issues we are working on ..

Some of the key features you will see are
- Rich User Interface
- Easy registration
- Drag and drop users into groups
- Fine grained access control - set permissions on which groups can view your blogs
- Create a book of me
- Address book import
- create buddies lists,
- Internal messaging platform - display the entire message/conversation trail (collapsable)
- API to develop gadgets etc..

More to come in the near future , we are planning on taking the site once we resolve some minor bug fixes ..

Finally -- I am looking for a marketing expert /freelancer to join my team ..

The site is basically empty when viewed from the latest version of Firefox as well.

I like the design, its nice and clean, but the member of the month, and the other member images gives me the feel of a dating site? Not sure if you want that?
