what words would you put in a google search to find your company, what about friends and associates.

Once you identify several two to three word keyword phrases, put those phrases into your home page "title tags" and the "title tags" of every web page.

Also, use these phrases throughout all the copy on your site.

There is more you can do, but I would turn my attention to social media websites. Register with as many as you can that seem "relevant" and use the same phrases as tags.

keep reading for more tips on seo and smo and good luck.

Try www.websitegrader.com. This application gives your site a score and then many pointers to improve SEO. I would highly recommend it.\

I would also recommend googling search engine optimization techniques. Read a bunch of them and start doing the things that they all have in common.

SEO can be a slow process. Once you know what to do you just need to dive in.

    Hope this helps.

At Go-To-Market Strategies (www.gtms-inc.com), they have an excellent tool called The SEO Checklist. It is basically a to-do list on how to start managing your SEO efforts.

You can find it at https://www.gtms-inc.com/salesandmarketingtemplates.htm and it's free.

First off start setting up some relevant links from companies that operate within your market.

The term link baiting should be Googled...basically you want a reason for sites to link back to you, so do something or write something in your site that is of interest.

If you give me an email address I will send you a guide to diy seo.

Make sure EVERY thing you write, use, wear, print and publish has your website address on it.

Join industry forums, such as this one and get known as a specialist in your chosen field.

Last, but not least, make sure your site is well designed, and full of well written, relevant text...Google likes to give its users quality content.
