    You want to promote MBA programme then start with junior colleges and spread awareness about your college and its specifications.
    Students will not be directly interested to it, use some nukkad natak and engage into various fests colleges organise time to time. Give them something unique to offer and they will come to you.

    Second make some association with Media in terms of advertisement and revenue it means that, take subscription of various publication, and give them time to time ads and in return they will recruit your students in their branches. It will be helpful as you will be into a barter system of give and take. And students will be getting placements also, in return they will spread kind word of mouth for you.

    Third thing you can do is to create a plan which caters to online media and social networking. Means get into every possible social networking site less with the paid method more within the social circle, call your students to start conversation about your college, MBA facilities, placements anything and everything anyone can talk about.

    Fourth thing you can come up with, motivate your students to give you references and give them something in return. Dont make this into marks and all but give them something interesting goodies and gifts. This will be soft publicity for you but surely help you.

    Where are you located? Is the MBA program offered online or just locally?

    What kinds of students do you have now? Where do they come from? How did they learn about the program?

    Who is your competition? Whose market share do you want to steal? Or are you thinking you'd increase total demand and do missionary work for all MBA programs, and just take your fair share of the increase in demand?

    What have you done in the past that has worked? What have you tried that hasn't worked? Same questions for your key competitors?

    Where do most of your graduates go? Are there some major employers in the area who have influence over MBA candidates and hiring decisions?

    You might want to begin with a SWOT analysis to see where the opportunities are.

    As for Conrad's suggestion that you seek help from the students, I would be careful about that unless you have time and patience. It's going to cost money to try new things, and you won't know the results immediately.

    If this is really important for you, you might want to hire a consultant who can help you "skip some steps" and get to the action plans quickly.
