Banner Ideas Above Tabletop Display

Posted by lance.thompson1 on 125 Points
I have a client who has an existing table-top display and they want to be able to add a banner above it.

Does anyone have any attractive (no pvc) ideas on how to hang a 6 foot wide to 18 inch high banner on top of a table?

I'm thinking that it would need to be a clamp system of some sort and it needs to be easy to transport.

Thanks!

Thanks Phil. Good idea but I guess I should have included a little more detail. The table top display doesn't reach across the full width of the table and they want the banner to be six feet wide.

So, the rack/hanger thingy would have to be high enough above the display to make the bottom of the banner 56 inches off of the table. I assume the rack would be a stand and/or clamp onto the outer edges of the table.

    Any more ideas?

    Thanks!

The table would be whatever is provided by the exhibit space and would be different every time as would the ability to hang stuff from the ceiling so that wouldn't work either...

I found this design from someone on the internet:

    https://chapters.nss.org/hub/exhibits/tabletopper.htm

But the client doesn't want it to look cheap or use PVC since it will bow and sag over time.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks so far everyone!

You could start with: https://www.rosebrand.com/product2135/Table-Top-Clamp-with-Pin.aspx?cid=282... and create the framework with aluminum tubing
