What’s Your Opinion Of Media Kits?

I handle the public relations for several pro rodeos and have always sent news releases to media, plus a media kit with more in-depth info.

I’ve worked some markets for 5-7 years, and I feel the media kits aren’t as effective as they were. No one seems to use them much.

I’m leaning towards sending a news release each week and not sending the media kits at all.

What’s your opinion?

    Online high-resolution photos, videos, and background information will help writers out quickly (and may be useful if they have some space that needs filling ASAP).
