Launch Event Ideas For A New Line Of Mobile Toilet

A mobile toilet hire company that caters to a wide selection of clients mainly for outside events is looking to bring in a new better range of mobile toilet units. Looking for innovative exciting way to unveil the new range to potential clients at a simple function most probably a cocktail. TA for launch would comprise of mainly event planners and managers, media and some corporate clients.

    Eva, Perhaps making your lunch into a competitive event might be more fun and attract more attention. You could hold toilet races and invite each of your clients and top prospects to create a company team. Invite the media to cover the event as well. Of course, some of the portable toilets you are unveiling would be there as the functioning toilet of choice.

    You should also have some sort of item that the clients and prospects can take home. I saw this new product at a promotional products trade show last summer and it could be perfect.

    You could also open up an event like this to the public and join forces with a local charity. You can sell food or t-shirts or charge teams to enter the race, and donate the money raised to the charity. Charitable events are always a great hook for the media, open you up to being able to advertise through free PSAs and are also great for your company image.

    Instead of trying to draw people to your grand unveiling, work with a few select event planners (that are serving your target market) and offer your toilets for their on-site (non-profit) events at cost in exchange for advertising in the toilet itself. You want people to see how much better it is, and start asking for it by name in the future.

    Thanks for your insightful ideas. Like the idea of holding a charity event and also using event planners.
    The key thing for us is to be able to let event planners experience the difference between the units currently in the market (both ours and competitions) and the new units we are bringing in. We would like to provide them with the opportunity to interact with the new units so that they are in a better position to sell them to their clients.

    I've got to agree with Phil and Jay on this one. I was an event planner, and got invited to fabulous events all the time to get my business. There's very little chance you'd get me to come to an event about a toilet.

    Mailings and special offers to upgrade toilets at my next event would work better. They'll see the quality upgrade if you can get them to use the toilet at one event.
