What Do Women Look For In A Treatment Facility

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are substance abuse treatment facility for women. Our target market is baby boomers and GEN x who can afford to pay the 12,000k per month to stay at our facility to recover from drugs and alcohol. I am wondering what types of things this market for women finds important. It could be what women find important in a hotel, or in a medical facility, a rehab, or in a home etc (trying to figure out what they want in a rehab is sort of difficult so exanding the question is necessary I think). I am just trying to figure out what this market find most valuable: is it service, luxury, appearance, extras, food, value etc..

Thanks for your help

You need to talk to your target consumer. A survey might work, but a better approach in your industry -- especially as a first step -- would be qualitative research, in which the women talk in their own words about how they deal with these kinds of decisions and what's important to them.

Contact a qualified market research professional, and they can guide you on how to do this. Otherwise you're going to be relying on opinions from people who haven't experienced these kinds of decisions, perhaps using the wrong terminology, and likely missing many important nuances about which you need to knowledgeable.

This isn't something you want to leave to chance. Find a professional who can guide you on the research.
