Summer Campaign Tagline For A Shopping Center

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello, I am a designer and I am developing a summer campaign for a shopping mall in Egypt. This is by far the best mall in the city.

I am out of ideas for the campaign artwork and the proper tagline. I basically need some ideas that can help along with a tagline if possible.

The shopping mall contains first time brands in Egypt, Classy restaurants, cinemas, theme park and a food court.

Can you please help on that

What ideas have you (or others) tried in the past for the shopping center (and what were the results)?
Why do people come to this mall (what makes it "best")?

The more information you provide, the more we can help you.

The mall overviews the sea. It is in Alexandria Egypt.

we only held two previous campaigns for previous summers. the artwork was as follows:

    Campaign (1)
The page was split into 2 halves vertically. One have with the image of the mall and people shopping and the other half was the beach and a sea and on both images a shopping women was placed on both images part on the sea with her hands holding buckets and sea tools and the other hand with shopping bags

    Campaign (2)
The artwork consisted of boxes and gifts of different colors and we said colors of summer

People usually come to the place because it is the best hangout in the city. It has international brands for shopping and the cinemas. It's an entertainment venue.

    Awaiting your feedback and thanks

    A couple of ideas:
    * Who Says Shopping Should Be Hard Work? (Showcase entertainment)
    * Make Shopping Entertaining (Showcase hangout)

I was thinking of "Smile, you're in the best place in Alexandria" with a happy shopper in different positions

How can i develop on that?

Actually the management is against taglines that are in the form of questions.

It would be nice if you mentioned the rational behind the tagline so that I can easily sell it to the management if you what i mean

    Great thanks

Speaking from a shopper's point of view, I think the mall's brands are what make it an attractive shopping destination. Shoppers want to see the designer brands, so I would use every opportunity to feature those. Here are a couple ideas:

    An international shopping destination.
[mall name] - home to the finest brands in Alexandria.
    Upscale shopping by the sea.
    Luxury by the sea.
    The international destination for luxury.

Maybe you could focus on the idea of the mall being "inviting." It sounds like a lovely destination for an afternoon! You could play around with "invitations" in your campaign, perhaps inviting local celebrities or power-players to an exclusive sale or other event. And another portion of the campaign could invite more broadly your target audience to experience the luxury by the sea.

I like the upscale shopping by the sea but i need something that says it is more than shopping maybe
